Welcome to Glider Elementary School
Glider Elementary School is dedicated to the strong academic development of our students. We strive to implement the goals of our district, and to meet the needs of our school community by creating a nurturing and supportive learning environment.
Glider is part of the Oak Grove School District and has twenty-six classrooms of instruction and a resource specialist classroom.·
Walk-A-Thon Pledge Envelopes are due no later than April 20th by 3:00PM to be eligible for prizes.
Our goal this year is·$35,000,·to maintain our current enrichment programs and to update our technology.

Cash and check donations are submitted through the pledge envelopes. Please do not add online donations to the pledge envelope, as these donations are tracked separately and will be combined for the grand totals.

Box Tops For Education - Earn Cash for Our School!·Keep collecting your Box Tops For Education. Be sure your box tops are not expired and be sure to trim them. Collect them in zip-loc bag and put your student and teachers names on the bag. Turn them in to your student's teacher. This is free cash for our school. We earn .10 cents for each box top turned in and every bit counts. Just think if we can collect 10,000 Box Tops at the beginning of the year we will have earned $1,000.00 in free money for our school. So let's go Glider Families and thanks for your support!
